Meet Jenn Bagwell

Jennifer Bagwell returns to Absolute Volleyball Club as the Co-Head Coach of 10 Black and the Head Coach of 15 White for the 2025–26 season. In 2024–25, she served as Head Coach of 14 White and Assistant Coach of 12 White, continuing to bring her expertise and energy to multiple teams across the club.

Jennifer has been an important part of the AVC coaching staff since 2021, with a coaching career spanning nearly a decade (with a short break in between). She has guided a variety of teams, including leading 12 Black to significant growth and memorable milestones.

Her coaching philosophy is shaped by her playing career as a middle hitter at Glendora High School and Bonita High School in Los Angeles, where she earned First Team All-League honors in 1998 and 1999, MVP awards, and media recognition for her standout performances.

At AVC, Jennifer is known for her team-first approach and her ability to build a positive, respectful, and cohesive environment. She focuses on developing not only her athletes’ volleyball skills but also their character, integrity, and resilience. Her athletes are encouraged to play with confidence, face challenges head-on, and grow both as players and as people. She takes pride in seeing her teams thrive through optimism, hard work, and a shared commitment to one another.

Jennifer’s ultimate goal is to empower athletes to believe in themselves, embrace mental toughness, and carry the lessons learned on the court into all aspects of their lives.

Off the court, Jennifer enjoys photography, traveling, bartending, and watching football. Most importantly, she cherishes her role as a mother to three children and finds joy in the company of her two golden retrievers. Her passion for coaching comes from seeing athletes gain confidence, form lifelong friendships, and discover just how much they’re capable of achieving.
