Explanation of Options for registering with the NCVA
The NCVA has changed their registration process this year. Players attending tryouts have two options. Players can either purchase an NCVA membership online before tryouts this year or purchase a one-day tryout pass and complete a paper membership registration form for each tryout the player attends. These options are explained in more detail below.
Option 1:
Print the NCVA Membership Application Form and fill it out. Pay $8.00 for the NCVA one-day tryout pass with your AVC Tryout Registration fee. If your daughter is invited to join a team, THEN register your daughter online with the NCVA as a Member and pay the $60 membership fee. This avoids paying for an NCVA membership if your daughter does not play on a club team.
Option 2 :
Register your daughter online with the NCVA as a Member and pay the $60 membership fee BEFORE Tryouts. If you do this AND mail in proof of membership or bring your membership card to tryouts, you do not have to pay the additional $8.00 NCVA tryout fee.
ONLY DO THIS if you are certain your daughter will make a club team somewhere. The NCVA does not issue refunds, even if your daughter does not make a team or she decides not to play!
If you choose to register as an NCVA Member, BE SURE TO SELECT “Undecided” as the Club Name. Selecting a Club Name will NOT guarantee being offered a position on a team in that club. Additionally, if your daughter decides to join a different club, you will have to ask the NCVA to change the Club Name instead of being able to change it yourself.
